The New Soundtrack I’m Obsessed With…

If I Stay: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Hi everyone!

I talk about If I Stay too much, and that is a proven fact. Look at my previous blog posts.

Anyway..some of you know that I saw If I Stay on Friday. Oh my gosh!!!

Sorry, that was completely a fangirl moment, and when I fangirl over something it lasts hours.

The reason why I’m fangirling about this movie is…well, there’s two reasons.

1.The music is amazing. I love how Mia (Chloe Grace Moretz) and Adam (Jamie Blackley) connect over their different tastes of music, and mash their sounds together.

The songs in the movie are beautiful.

I keep listening to Heart Like Your’s and I Want What You Have. These two songs are both recorded by Jamie Blackley.

For those of you who have seen the movie, the band’s name changed from Shooting Star to Willamette Stone.

2.The dedication to one specific thing (Mia playing the cello since she was eight years old) appalled me. Music played a special role in her life, and to stick to the same thing for years takes, well, dedication. To want to do pursue a talent/hobby and do it for the rest of your life is amazing.

Thanks for reading you all! And sorry that my writing was all over the place today.. :/

What Are You Reading?

Hello my lovely followers and book lovers! How is everyone’s Sunday going?

Today, like every Sunday, I’d like to share with you some books I’m reading, which I recommend to you. Also, I’d like to hear some of the books you are reading. Comment below, I’m opening up the comment section, for once. :)

Last week I featured Monument 14: Sky on Fire by Emmy Laybourne. (See image below)

This week I’m featuring Let it Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It’s not the season for this, since it’s almost the end of summer.

I’ve read plenty of Lauren Myracle (Peace Love and Baby Ducks) and John Green books (The Fault in Our Stars, Looking For Alaska, Paper Towns). But sadly, I have not read any of Maureen Johnson’s books.

Guess what?

I will the next time I go to the library, in fact, I will raid the entire library of her books. ;)

Here is the cover for Let it Snow:

That’s it for today folks! Please remember to comment what you are reading, and have a lovely day!

My Originals: Poem of the Week

Two Hearts

Two hearts collide,

at the midst of love.

They are invincible,

therefore they cannot be stopped.

Two worlds of passion,

and poise merge together,

To be free.

Free of the world,

the hearts are known to fall.

There are many hearts longing for another.

To connect,

To love.

Listen to it shout,

And listen to it scream,

Inside your chest.

You can feel it too.

I know you can feel it,

Everyone does.

The world needs love,

And love is good,

But it can can be evil.

Others may say things that bring you down. They got what they wanted, but not always what you want is what you need.

Others may say things that bring you down. They got what they wanted, but not always what you want is what you need.

Movie Picks

Hello every movie lover out there!

I’d like to share with you a movie that is near and dear to my heart…The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

Ever since I read the book, which was about two years ago (the same time I read Divergent) I was hooked. The first book and movie lured me into reading the rest of the series.

I recommend this book and movie to anyone who loves fantasy, action, and adventure.

If you do not know what the Mortal Instruments: City of Bonesis read below:

Clary Fray is just a normal girl when her world gets turned upside down when she begins drawing a symbol, as the Shadowhunters call it a rune.

She starts seeing a person in which her friend Simon cannot. This person follows Clary everywhere until she finally talks to him for the first time.

His name is Jace, Jace Wayland a Shadowhunter who tracks down demons and kills them for a living.

If you would like to learn more about The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, visit http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1538403/ !

Books in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, City of Fallen Angels, City of Lost Souls, City of Heavenly Fire*

It is the girl of many colors here, and I have a very important question for you. What are you reading this week?

If anyone would like to know, I am reading Monument 14: Sky on Fire by Emmy Laybourne. I posted about the first book, which you can scroll down on my blog to find it.
I am also reading the graphic novel of Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.
You wouldn’t believe how excited I was to find this book. I’ve read the actual novel, and enjoyed it. The sequel was good as well.
Comment down below or click ‘ask’ on my blog and tell me what you are reading!
Thank you for reading!
